In June 2009, Abington Memorial Hospital employed an Engineering firm to assist in the development of their strategic energy plan. An evaluation of the hospitals mechanical and electrical systems was performed to identify and prioritize conservation strategies. The lighting conservation project is the first project to commence. The project will consist of four (4) parking garages to be relamped with high efficiency fixtures and lighting controls.
