IMPACT


Pennsylvanians are seeing the benefits of the federal stimulus in a variety of ways.  These investments are designed to temper the effects of the national economic recession and position us for prosperity in the future.

Beneath the map are two sets of PDFs. The first set is a county-by-county summary of Recovery Act funding that is flowing through state agencies.

The second set is a county-by-county summary of Recovery Act funding awarded directly from federal agencies to entities in each county.

COUNTY SUMMARIES 

Pennsylvanians will benefit from more than $26 billion in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding including billions of dollars that will flow through state agencies. Every county across the state is already benefiting from these funds.

In the first set of PDFs below, click on your county for a summary of funds flowing through the state in the first 10 months of the Recovery Act. Each summary includes information on education, transportation, water, energy, environmental, job training and other projects, plus a chart that describes the number of citizens in your county being helped by specific programs receiving Recovery Act funding. For more details about individual projects use the county map above.

In the second set of PDFs below, click on your county for a compilation of direct federal funding in the first 10 months of the Recovery Act. Tens of billions of dollars from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are being awarded directly from federal agencies to entities throughout the state. More information about these awards is available on the federal Web site: www.Recovery.gov.
